An Excerpt of Meet Me at the Beach: Pam of Babylon #13

Pam’s back! Here’s just a taste of current events, a little of what she’s faced with after Christmas.

The rest of the story takes place later in the year. We love the beach in the summer, don’t we?

It will be five years since Jack died this coming Memorial Day.

  1. I just read the prologue to “Meet Me At The Beach”. Pam-Pam-Pam. I don’t know what to say except if YOU,beautiful, perfect Pam, have these problems with so many men what chance does an average woman have? Men be crazy!!!

    • Lol! Thank heaven she has these problems or I wouldn’t have anything to write about. I’m hoping it’s going to get better for her as the story progresses. Robert Frost said “No surprises for the writer, to surprises for the reader,” and I have no idea where this is going to end up! Thank you so much for commenting Marti.

  2. Thank you for sharing this excerpt. I had a feeling Charlie would let her down. Looking forward to #13. Thanks again!

  3. I just read the excerpt to “Meet Me At The Beach”. It drew me right in! Can’t wait to see where this goes! Bring it on!

  4. I JUST READ THE PROLOGUE OF MEET ME AT THE BEACH AND THOUGHT IT WAS VERY INTERESTING. IT MAKES YOU WONDER WHAT PAM WILL BE UP TO NEXT. WILL SHE STILL SELL THE BEACH HOUSE AND MOVE ON TO ANOTHER PLACE WITH MORE ADVENTURES OR WILL SHE STAY ON THE BEACH AND FIND ADVENTURES THERE. I CAN’T WAIT.

  5. Suzanne please don’t leave us hanging like this. LOL. I’m chomping at the bit to know what’s going to happen. Write quick.

      • June seems so long to wait to see what Pam is up to next. Maybe you can give us excerpts a long the way. I really thought Charlie was the one. What a let down,

        • I did, too. But then I could feel her resistance when she talked about moving to Washington or even down the beach to Charlie’s house. There was just that moment where she threw caution to the wind and jumped into bed with him on Christmas Eve. You know I never know where these things are going to end up. Sometimes I’ll have an idea and when I start writing it, I know it’s not right for Pam. I was in Costco the other day and suddenly the thought of Nelda dying came to me and I almost lost it. I really don’t want the old ladies to die. So I’ll fight that idea. I just don’t know what will happen with Pam, but as I’m writing you, I just had an idea 🙂

  6. Now I can hardly wait till June!!
Didn’t see that coming with Pam and Charlie….I was prepared to go to a big wedding in June!! Lol
    Have a beautiful Easter.
